COVID-19: Time-of-Use Rates
COVID-19 Rate, starting January 1, 2021 and is intended to be in place until January 28, 2021.
The Government of Ontario has introduced a fixed COVID-19 rate of 8.5¢/kWh for all time-of-use (TOU) electricity customers. Households, farms and small businesses who pay time-of-use electricity rates will be charged this rate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, starting January 1, 2021.
Customers do not need to take any action as the pricing applies automatically.
